Each year John and Eileen Sala work with Charlie Coriell at Avon Park Correctional Institution in Florida to provide classes for inmates. They are currently offering 3 classes: Marriage, Family, & Parenting, Parenting through Divorce, and Overcomers Addiction Recovery. Enrollment for these classes has been as large as 65 students in the past. The classes are offered twice a year and each class lasts 14 weeks. Beginning this year, the Salas are also teaching classes at Martin Prison in Indiantown, FL.
The men enrolled in these classes are working to improve the relationships in their lives. Our goal is to provide support, education, and encouragement to help them become godly men, husbands, and fathers. Perhaps one of the greatest failures in America is one of parenting. It is our hope to help change and improve the lives of these men and their children.
